Ja askuus moet se ek het die turbo getoets so my opinie is op hom basseer!

Sal graag die Prime wil voel. Het die Bowtech Reign geskiet en as n Mathews shooter kan ek eerlik se daar sal iets besonders by ander boee moet wees om Reign te klop. Ek kon geen iets kry wat my afsit nie, behalwe die nocks wat ek verloor het op 50m met n boog wat glad nie opgestel was vir my nie. Ek was geskok.

There are already radical designs out there like the STS Raptor with cam systems in the limb/riser joint and using "rubber bands" to generate the speeds.
These also shoot steel balls at high velocities.
Haven't seen an actual test on the bow but this could be a move toward a change if there is more attention is given to it.

I reckon that the next thing would be something like the oneida, although obviously with today's technology, for it to go better and faster. As it is currently, bows cannot be improved significantly anymore.

No, have not checked elite's new bows...will wait a couple of years until I can afford them

This could be achieved with a cantilever system, this will change the design.
I think the manufacturers do changes gradually. People don't take to change easily. We all see radical concept cars but it takes a few years before we get remotely close because it may not easily be accepted and sales may plummet. So its done slower.

Very true, i think scaring the authorities into regulating bows is another issue, you cannot just bring a bow onto the market that doubles current bow energy and not raise some eyebrows.

I also think that currently bows are powerful enough so just making them easier to shoot is the logical thing to do.

A new radical idea??????

Reverse the bow, put the string in front of the riser like the Storm RDX crossbow.

Bowtech Reign is awsome, but the PSE Evolve 35 with 90% let off won in the end. I literally can hold the bow for a long time and the arms are not tired. Shot a few sessions and the body is not as tired as when shooting my other bow.
