Western Cape Hunting Licence & Paperwork

Postby SBC101 » Tue May 24, 2016 8:26 am

Good Day Gents

I see Cape Nature is the local issuing authority to obtain a Hunting Licence in the Western Cape.

I beleive that a letter is required by the farmer that is issued to me to transport the venison?

Are there any other permits, forms etc that I need to obtain before I go out on a hunt?

Thanks

Hi SBC101
I gave them a call yesterday to ask the same question as per our discussion it depends on where you are hunting and what you will be hunting if you see on there paperwork the provincial notices for 2016 it will guide you to what you want to shoot and where I can send you this info and application forms via email if you need them as I understand it if the animal to be hunted is not on the list one would need a permit for and if on the list you only need a bow hunting licence. hope this helps out a bit .
